MACCIA + GTU + Circularity Global

100 Village Circular Economy Pilot.

MACCIA (Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture), GTU (Gujarat Technological University) and Circularity Global have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deploy the Circular Infrastructure Network across 100 villages — one entrepreneur, one Node-cluster, one Hub-share at a time.

Four pillars

How the model works on the ground.

One Village · One Entrepreneur

Every village runs a circular micro-enterprise.

Each pilot village selects one entrepreneur — often a SHG-supported woman, a young graduate, or an existing aggregator — who anchors that village's resource flows. Circularity Foundation routes a microloan, training, equipment and an offtake LOI.

Nodes

Every farm, every kirana, every panchayat becomes a verified Node.

Agri residue, food waste, plastic, e-waste — sources are mapped onto the Atlas. Each node carries a digital identity, GPS-tagged, with monthly tonnage attestations.

Hubs

Modular hubs sized for a 25–50 km radius.

Biomass + food-waste hubs at 30–80 tpd; plastic + textile sorting at the cluster level. Hub Builder drops a complete blueprint — capex, opex, partners, permits, financing — into the entrepreneur's hand.

Network architecture

Verification + finance + market routing — one OS.

Marketplace lists what each hub produces. Offtake contracts are signed at the regional level. Foundation pool collects a share of revenue and routes it back to community programs.

Investment readiness

A pilot, built like infrastructure.

Once anchored, each Hub-cluster is a single bankable SPV with verifiable feedstock, offtake and impact.

Feedstock

Multi-tonne/day, traceable per Node. Atlas baseline + monthly attestations.

Offtake

Pre-signed LOIs with regional aggregators, brands and EPR-mandated buyers.

Finance

Bank facility (project finance) + Foundation pool revenue-share + concessional CDR upside on biochar.

Status — MoU Signed

The MoU is signed. Now we build.

MACCIA, GTU and Circularity Global have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deploy the 100-Village Circular Economy Pilot across Maharashtra. Working groups are now spinning up across the first cohort of villages. If you want to support, fund, or operate this pilot — get in touch and we'll route you into the right working group.
