1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed by your browser. They help us run the Platform, remember your language preference and theme, secure sessions, and understand how the Platform is used at an aggregate level.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — authentication, security, language and theme preferences. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remember selections inside calculators and AI tools across a session.
- Analytics — anonymised, aggregate usage stats. Turned off by default; opt in via cookie preferences when implemented.
- Marketing — not used at this time.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in and saved-preferences.
4. Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services (Yahoo Finance for live prices, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for geocoding, an email provider for transactional mail). Each has its own cookie / data policies linked from their public sites.
