How Circularity Prices Are Calculated
Resource prices on the Intelligence module come from two sources: (1) live free-tier endpoints (currently Yahoo Finance public chart API for aluminium and copper futures, with conversion to USD/tonne); (2) Circularity Global desk-research sample bands for materials where no free live feed exists.
Every row in the prices table carries: source name, source tier (T1–T5), confidence score (0–100%), timestamp, and methodology text. Sample rows are visibly tagged so users never confuse them with live values.
Production deployments should subscribe to ICIS / Fastmarkets / LME / local exchange feeds. Admin can override any row from Admin → Resource prices; overrides take precedence over both live and sample values.
